If you're new to Excel, one of the first things to understand is how data is structured. Excel organizes data using a grid of cells, arranged in rows and columns.

A cell is a single data box, like A1 or C3.
It can store numbers, text, or formulas.
Each cell has a unique address:
For example, B2 is in column B and row 2.
